1. Who we are

Realtime Technologies Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 08324203, runs BuildMyPet and is responsible for your personal information.

2. What we collect

• Account: an account ID, your passkey’s public key, session details, IP address and browser, and your email address if you give it to us. Fingerprint and face checks stay on your device.
• Your pet: name, animal, country, photos, photo-check results, 3D models, sizes, parts lists and guidebooks.
• Orders: order references, price, currency, payment status, billing country, tax and 3D scan credits. We never see your full card details.
• Technical: logs of requests and errors, to run and secure the website.

3. Why we use it

• To provide what you buy: sign-in, photo checks, your 3D model, sizes, parts list and guidebook (our contract with you).
• To keep accounts safe, fix problems and stop fraud and double charges (our legitimate interests).
• To keep tax and accounting records (legal obligation).

Photo checks use AI to see whether a photo shows the right view and animal and matches your other photos. If a check fails, we ask for another photo. Nothing is decided about you that has legal or similar effects.

4. Who we share it with

We share only what each service provider needs to do its job for us:

• hosting, storage and website security;
• AI services that check photos, tidy them and make 3D models;
• payments: card details go straight to our payment provider;
• email, if you give us your address;
• Google or Apple, if you choose to sign in with them.

Some providers process information outside the UK, including in the United States. Where they do, transfers are protected by UK adequacy regulations or approved contract terms. We also share information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or investigate misuse.

5. How long we keep it

• Unfinished photo sets: 90 days after your last photo.
• Your pets, photos, 3D models and designs: until you delete the pet or your account.
• Photo-check results: 30 days.
• Sign-in sessions: 30 days, renewed when you use the website.
• Order, payment and tax records: as long as the law requires, usually 6 years.

Copies in backups and provider logs are removed on their own schedules.

6. Cookies

We use only essential cookies and storage: for sign-in, your order, security, and your country and language choice. No advertising or analytics cookies.

7. Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, restrict or object to how we use it, or get a copy to take elsewhere. Use Contact us. Some records, such as tax records, must be kept.

You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk) or your local data-protection authority.
