1. Your purchase

BuildMyPet is run by Realtime Technologies Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 08324203. These terms cover purchases on this website, in English.

Prices. The price depends on the country you order for, which is also the country of your parts list: £29 in the United Kingdom, €29 in countries that use the euro and $29 USD everywhere else. Prices include any VAT or sales tax we must charge, worked out from your billing address and shown on your receipt. The website language doesn’t change the price.

Each pet includes a 3D scan plus one free retry with new photos, up to five sizes to try, and a parts list and step-by-step guidebook for one size you choose. Bricks are not included. After the free retry, each new 3D scan of the same pet costs £10, €10 or $10 USD, in the same country, with a fresh size choice. There is no subscription.

Your order is accepted when your payment is confirmed and we send your order confirmation.

2. Your size

Try the sizes, then confirm one. Each size shows its height, width, length, brick count and estimated brick cost. Confirming locks that size and country to the 3D scan. Pets with very thin legs may get fewer sizes.

Your model, parts list and guidebook are in your account. You need an internet connection and a current browser. Keep your own copies of your downloads.

3. Photos and likeness

Upload photos you took or have permission to use, and keep people out of them. You let us store and process your photos, including with our service providers, only to check them, make and deliver your design and run your account. You keep the rights in your photos.

We do our best to match your pet, using the latest AI tools and techniques. The likeness is best efforts: AI and bricks simplify shape, colour and detail, and parts the photos don’t show are inferred. Examples on the website are illustrations.

If a 3D scan fails on our side, we give you back its 3D scan credit. Not liking the likeness doesn’t earn a free 3D scan or a refund. Your legal remedies still apply.

4. Cancellation and refunds

You normally have 14 days to cancel a digital purchase. You can cancel until your 3D scan starts. When you start it, you ask us to begin straight away and confirm you understand that you can’t cancel or get a refund once it starts. After that we don’t offer change-of-mind refunds.

If your design is faulty or not as described, you may be entitled to a repair, a replacement or a price reduction, up to a full refund. We don’t exclude any rights the law gives you.

To cancel or report a problem, tell us your order and what you’d like us to do.

5. Buying the bricks

We supply a digital design. We don’t stock, sell or ship bricks. You upload your parts list to LEGO® Pick a Brick yourself and check the basket before you pay.

Brick prices and stock can change. LEGO® Pick a Brick sets the actual prices, delivery and returns for your brick order.

Small bricks are a choking hazard: keep them away from young children. The finished pet is a display model. BuildMyPet is independent of the LEGO Group, which does not sponsor, authorise or endorse us. LEGO® is a trademark of the LEGO Group.

6. Your design and account

You may download your parts list and guidebook, make copies for yourself and anyone helping you build, and share photos of your finished pet. Please don’t resell or publish our guidebook or parts-list files.

You must be 18 or over to buy. Keep your account secure and don’t misuse the service.

7. Refer a friend: free pets

Once you have an account, you get a personal link to share with friends or on social media. When someone buys a pet through your link, it counts towards a free pet for you.

• Every 5 counted purchases earn one free pet. A free pet is the same as a bought pet: a 3D scan, size previews, and a parts list and guidebook in the size you choose. Bricks are not included.
• A purchase counts 30 days after payment, as long as it has not been refunded and the payment has not been disputed or charged back in that time. A purchase that is refunded or disputed later may stop counting if it has not yet earned a free pet.
• Your own purchases do not count, and nor do new 3D scans or free pets.
• You can earn up to 6 free pets in any 3 months. Counted purchases beyond that carry over towards later free pets.
• Claim each free pet within 3 months of earning it, or it expires. If you have given us your email address, we email you when you earn one and remind you before it expires.
• Free pets have no cash value. They cannot be exchanged for money, transferred to another account or combined with other offers.
• Share your link honestly. Say it is your referral link, do not spam or mislead people, do not pretend to be us, and do not use our name in paid advertising.
• If we reasonably believe the programme is being misused, for example through fake accounts, we may cancel referrals and unclaimed free pets and disable a link.
• We may change or end the programme at any time. Free pets you have already earned stay yours until they expire.

8. Problems and the law

We provide our service with reasonable care and skill. We don’t exclude liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else the law doesn’t let us exclude.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You keep the consumer protections and the right to go to court where you live.
